2025 Fall Show Perspective

2025 Fall Show Perspective Judged by Artist Beth Ivens

Beth Ivens grew up in the beautiful hills of north central Arkansas and earned her BSE in Art Education from the University of Central Arkansas. For 37 years, she taught art in both public and private schools, where she dedicated much of her studio time to creating lesson samples that inspired her students.
Since retiring from the classroom, Beth has shifted her focus to her own creative journey. Her work explores plein air landscapes and figurative subjects that tell the quiet stories of everyday life—moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. She enjoys working in a wide range of mediums, including watercolor, oils, pastels, and gouache, each allowing her to capture mood and atmosphere in unique ways.
When Beth is not in the studio, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
