$500 Purchase Award given by SPARK goes to Joyce Hartman for her work inspired by James Fowler’s Poem “At Mather Lodge” SPARK (St. Peter’s Artist Collective) gave this award to recognize and encourage local artists. The winning piece will become a part of St. Peter’s permanent collection.
Suzanne Underwood Rhodes division based on the poem “Prayer for my Bath”
1st Place ($100) in the Suzanne Underwood Rhodes division went to Page Davis for her work Floating Dreams based on the poem “Prayer for my Bath”
2nd Place ($75) in the Suzanne Underwood Rhodes division went to Karen Freeman for her work based on the poem “Prayer for my Bath”
Michael Blanchard division
1st Place ($100) in the Michael Blanchard division went to Christina Blum for her work Through Time based on the poem “Blue Umbrella”
2nd Place ($75) Joyce Hartman for Cool and Polished based on the poem “The Lady Knife Thrower”
Poets at Large
1st Place ($100) in the Poets at Large division went to Karen Samuhel for her work A Journey Through Time based on the poem “One for the Road” by Michelle Stoll
2nd Place ($75) was won by Brandi Mallett for her work Rose of Winter based on Christopher Fettes poem “December Roses”
