Charlotte’s “Art Spirit Journey” led her from teaching the dance arts to expressing her deepest thoughts & emotions through painting. She paints with passion, using loose evocative brushwork techniques. Her art beckons viewers to learn more about her art. She has won numerous art awards and has artworks in private & corporate collections. Charlotte has had One Woman Exhibits at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, the Ozark Heritage Art Center and Museum in Leslie, Cleburne County Art Council Art Gallery in Heber Springs, the Fairfield Bay Library, First Service & First Security Banks of Clinton She is a Signature Artist & Past President of Mid Southern Watercolorist, an Arkansas Artist League signature artist, President of the North Central Arkansas Artist League, member of Repertory Theatre’s Artworks, Arkansas Artist Registry, and Conway Artist League. Charlotte is the coordinator of the NCA Art Gallery in Fairfield Bay Conference Center. Her artwork is in the permanent collections of the Historical Arkansas Museum, University of Central Arkansas, Clinton Presidential Library, Ozark Health Medical Center and Arkansas Arts Council’s Small Works on Paper. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion and the National Capitol in Washington D.C., featured in two art books-“Art & Artisans of the Ozarks” Vol II & “Gathering of Artists” Vol. II, a magazine “Arkansas Life”, Governor’s Calendar. She had her paintings selected to be in the 2015 & 2016 Arkansas Committee of The National Museum of Women in the Arts’ website, www.acnmwa.org.
