I am a self-taught artist, and I love color, texture, and the freedom I find in creating art. I am a retired registered nurse and have been painting fine art for more than a decade. I found my gift as an artist after working as a hospice nurse when I realized I needed a creative outlet. Recently, I have begun helping students find their creative ability as I work with a private homeschool enrichment program. My artwork is like going on an adventure. Almost all my paintings are painted from my imagination, and it’s as if the artwork begins to reveal itself, and I follow the direction it takes me. I have also been blessed to offer commission pieces that become treasures to those who have asked me to capture special moments in their lives. I am inspired by many beautiful things. I love painting pieces that are my interpretation of songs, poetry in the Psalms, and capturing beautiful skies.
